About Media Studies

Mascalls School offers Media Studies at KS4 and KS5. The courses combine independent coursework and research projects with close textual analysis and the study and evaluation of key media issues and debates. Both GCSE and A Level courses are very popular and are compatible with a diverse range of subjects. The course is equally balanced in the way pupils are assessed with 50% of the final mark being derived from coursework and 50% from examination.
