ParentMail Information
Mascalls is a member of 'Parentmail'.
This is a website which automatically emails school communications to parents. The website also stores archives of past Mascalls letters and notices.
We strongly recommend that you, as a parent, register with Parentmail. This will mean that a wide range of notices and letters from Mascalls to parents will be emailed directly to you. Letters which currently get 'lost' in school bags will then reach you!
The service is free to parents and nearly half of Mascalls parents are already members.
How to Register:
- On the internet, go to: www.parentmail.co.uk
- Follow the instructions to register yourself as a parent of Mascalls School, Paddock Wood.
- You will have the chance to register your child's name and learning community. This information can only be seen by managers at the school and helps ensure that you receive communications that are relevant to you. You may also register as a parent of other schools. (Although not all schools take part in this scheme, registering will encourage them to do so).
- You will be issued with your own Parentmail password with which you may access the library of past communications. You will be notified by email of any new communications.
Note:
Parentmail is not part of Mascalls School. If you change your email address please tell us for our own records, but you will also need to notify the Parentmail organisation.
Parentmail is entirely separate from ePortal. ePortal is a Mascalls facility which allows you to access your child's school record online, using a confidential password issued by your community office at the school.
